Yesterday afternoon I noticed on Twitter that @IHeartReading was going to a Zumba class . . . the FIRST class of her friend Bryan, who I was lucky enough to meet a few weeks ago when we walked the Komen 5K in Raleigh. So, I invited myself to tag along, and had a great time. I don’t know if you can see the sweat in this picture, but there’s lots of it. And Bryan has the proud smile of an instructor who just made it through for the first time.
I also thought this was as good a time as any to put myself together in true Zumba style, so I wore my new glitter eyeshadow. The other thing you can’t see in this picture? By the time class was over, I had glitter EVERYWHERE. Apparently this sparkly makeup business is not a perfect science.

I am SO happy you came to join us!! I had a blast! I am so going to start glittering it up for Zumba! LOL!!! Bryan is just too cute, he is going to be an amazing instructor. I can’t wait to get to take your class! I will have my glitter ready!!!

Hopefully poor Bryan didn’t wind up with your glitter on his face. He’d have some splainin’ to do. Most guys don’t get their glitter from zumba.
